I met Caroline in 2016 when she was joined my very first mini-mod squad. The first time I met her I knew we were going to be friends! She is such a sweetheart and it is always an absolute joy to shoot with her. When she contacted me about her senior portraits, I was so excited to get the opportunity to shoot with her again, and capture her senior portraits!
Caroline's shoot was scheduled for the end of August, which is usually a challenge because we fight off the heat all day, but not for her shoot day. We were blessed with some of the more mild August weather here in Kentuckiana, and it was perfect!
We started Caroline's hair and makeup at her home and then went through her wardrobe selections. I am obsessed with all of the shoes she brought to her shoot, you'll see what I mean!
For outfit #1, we shot in front of her house. I love that it not only made the blue tones in her outfit stand out, but it also added a personal touch to her session. Next, we hopped in the car to find a few more spots to shoot her first look, and I absolutely love what we found!
After we finished up Caroline's first look, we headed downtown. I really love the striking cobalt blue of Caroline's second outfit, so I was on the lookout for a location that would really let the color stand out on its own. I think we nailed it!
Caroline's third look of the day had a boho vibe that I loved! We decided to mix the metals in her chokers to give a really unique and fashion-forward spin on the outfit. I love how the accessories really make this outfit shine!
As if she wasn't already amazing, she plays the guitar too! #goals
When I found out that Caroline's favorite color was orange, my first thought was "Girl, I got you!"
Then we found this perfect location for her last outfit!
It was my ABSOLUTE honor to shoot Caroline's senior portraits, and to spend the day with her and her family! Thank you so much to the Elliott family for trusting me with the job of capturing your sweet girls senior pictures!
I can't wait to see all that she accomplishes, I know she is going to do big things!
